No shortage of effort to make an answer
I did hog the scanner for half a day. It was a complete pain in the butt as I chose books with thick spines that don't bend very well. So lots of Photoshop retouching of the pages was required. Very impressed with Compman who sent me my order by the next day, that's if you need computing books.

Not much else going on here so I will retire to do some personal design work. (This was of course a few hours ago but again the phone was being used so it's a late posting).
