Off to the Chinese Opera. Having seen these before I know what to expect and must admit isn't really my cup of tea, just like western musicals aren't. Anyway like the bad kids on the school trip sitting at the very top tier on the back rows. So tired that the high pitched singing, very poor sub-titling couldn't keep us from occasionally nodding off. The finale I must admit was acrobatics and choreography of the finest. The acrobatics and Kung Fu performance was highly entertaining and equally skillful. The performers of many generations (as young as a few years old) looked worn out from continuous practicing and performing but forever putting on a good show. The official blast off dinner (another ten courses) with official opening speech by Amira. I know turquoise, I blame the lighting.
