03 Peking Duck Hutong nights
The Liqun Roast Duck Restaurant for Peking Duck. The first evening meal gathering the Lomographers together. We packed out the restaurant and got to know each over what must have been a ten course meal washed down with beer and tea. Spinning the Horizon camera round the table. Then out onto the dark streets of the hutong where the kids play, dogs bark, dinners are eaten and all manner of transactions can be made. Beijing lives come to life here in these back alleys. The Beijing of old before the area is taken over with more high rise buildings and modern complexes.
