14 One massive Lomowall
The grand opening of the Beijing Lomowall and the launch of the BMW X3 in China was eagerly anticipated. The wall is a stunning achievement. Taking place in a template at Ritan park. Thousands of images covering almost every subject put together in it's own unique way. From a distance a blur of colours with subtle messages and icons, close up a sensational portrait of the world of Lomography and the Lomographers. As a proud participant there was plenty of opportunity to go "That's my photo, there's another one...etc" but not as much the hard core. We hijacked the new BMW's, the champagne and morsels of food. The after show party was a blur of drunkenness and I found myself with a bad hangover and still having my free drink token in the morning.
