In a village nearby a section of the Great Wall we made our own dumpling lunch and ate it under a marquee next to a viaduct. As a debate rose about the chicken's head in one of dishes the quick eaters explored the bright blue empty swimming pool. We personalised it with the puddles of water, writing 'Lomography 2004' then we all jumped in for an alternative group photo. We took photos of them taking our photo. Due to the vastness of Beijing and the bad traffic jams, we did spend a lot of time on the coach. Ideal for catching up on previous nights sleep and taking passing shots.
