One thing I ask is that you please don't do the questionnaire if you're not going to take it seriously. As the number of people doing this is not going to be high, the results can be thrown off dramatically if questions are answered randomly without thought. Please take your time and choose your answers carefully. Please use a working email address, in case something was wrong with your result or I need to follow up for some reason (which is unlikely). Your details will not be given to anyone, and if individuals are mentioned in the thesis they will be given subject numbers instead of using their real names. Feel free to use a false name if you must, but please do not change any other details. Sex, age, location etc, is an important part of this test.

About the test
The basic goal of this questionnaire is to determine if a persons personality correlates with the type of music they listen to.

The personality test was based on a test found in the book "What Type Am I? Discover Who You Really Are" written by Renee Baron (ISBN 0-14-0269414-X). The test found on this website and in the book are based on the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator, which is one of the most widely used systems to define a persons personality. There are 16 different types under this system, made up of four parts. A person will be defined as being Introverted (I) or Extroverted (E), Sensing (S) or Intuiting (N), a Thinker (T) or a Feeler (F), and finally as a Judging (J) or Percieving (P) person. I won't go into this any further... if you have further interest the book mentioned above is very good at explaining simply how the system works and what every part means. If you search on the net about Meyers-Briggs you're bound to find plenty of info as well.

At the end of the test it will give a summary of the test, showing your 4 letter personality code, and a little description about that personality type. You can also choose to have the results sent to your email address as well.
