Lomography is not a fad
There have been many things that I have brought in the past, been really excited by it, then a few months or a year later I rarely lay my eyes on it. Things like my Gameboy for instance. Taking pictures with my Lomo, along with my music/radio interests ranks highest as to what I enjoy everyday. It's different from digital technology. You still get a buzz from getting your photos developed, eagerly anticipating the results of your last Lomo shoot. Surprises, disappointment, questions can appear from the same packet. It's a never ending cycle. I have taken over 50 rolls of film with my Lomo, broken it twice, fixed it twice and it's still going strong. I have even brought a spare Lomo just in case my current one does decide to give up completely. Lomography is for life.
