This introduction to programming for the Web focus' on the use of Java servlets to connect to a database. Although I am a Sun Certified Java Programmer, servlets were relatively new to me and this module gave me a better understanding in the use of servlets. For the project I created a basic online ordering system for the Southside Food Co-op in Bath which also incorporated nutrional information and recipes retrieved from a database.
