Profile
I am a Web designer and developer with over 8 years experience of Internet/Web development in an academic and commercial environment.
I have balanced skills in creative design and technical coding. This enables me to work within these two areas and more importantly in complex integration work. I am especially interested in usability, accessibility, cross platform/browser issues and CSS based design.
My work experience is varied from usability testing and integrating brochure ware websites to designing and writing complex e-commerce applications and online casinos. I work equally well alone and as part of a large multifunctional team. I have good practical, communication and organisational skills and have been a mentor and team leader. I am currently working for a national homeless charity maintaining and developing their many websites, used for campaigning, fundraising and as a major source of homelessness policy and practice.
In my spare time I enjoy photography, run an independent record label as well as spending time volunteering.
