Record label
Emma's House Recordings
My first attempt at running an independent record label. I started it with no knowledge of the music industry and with a tiny budget. Over a period of two years and a half years I put out 13 limited edition vinyl only release by bands and artist I liked from across the world. I ran the whole operation myself from arranging of the songs, organising pressing of the records, marketing and distribution. All of the sleeves were designed and handmade by myself.
Some of the releases managed to get national airplay and reviews in music magazines, one of the songs was even voted into the John Peel Festive Fifty. The label was closed when I returned to study mid 2002.

Heliotone Records
My second label with a similar ethos to Emma's House Recordings but on a much smaller scale. All the releases are limited to 50 copies, on 8" lathe cut polycarbonate and with hand made sleeves. My aim is to release as many records by different bands as possible.

Photography
The camera is a constant companion, used to document my life whereever I go. Using a range of compact 35mm cameras I capture everyday mundane moments of the city surroundings. It's about presenting different perspectives of the familiar. I frequently use my photographs in designs I create and as a source of inspiration.
My photography has been published in magazines and books. It has also been used in various group exhibitions including the The Great BMW Lomowall Beijing, Manchester Cow Parade 2004, Global 24 at Urbis and bar venues in Manchester and Cardiff. I participated in the Lomography World Congress 2004, held in Beijing a gathering of some of the best Lomographers from around the world.
Selected photographs are available for purchase through the Alamy Images.

T-shirts
I have designed some t-shirts either for promotional purposes or my own wear. My t-shirt designs are usually based on photographs I have taken encapsulating a specific theme.
